The Friends of Lake Laurentian welcomes a new Donor in its campaign to bring new signs to the Conservation Area.
SUDBURY – Conservation Sudbury is pleased to announce a generous donation from the Club Montessori of Sudbury. A cheque presentation will take place Tuesday April 26 at 11 AM at the main parking lot of the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area.
An ambitious plan to add high-quality signs throughout the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area (LLCA) kicked off last May (2015). A total of 99 signs will be installed in the coming months. The signs will be of equivalent quality to those one would expect to find in a provincial park.

Forests Ontario has approved Conservation Sudbury to become a Planting Delivery Agency (PDA) under the 50 Million Tree Program. Since the program's inception in 2008, more than 20 million trees have been planted in the province with an ultimate goal of planting 50 million trees by 2025.
