About the Fast Flowing Water Program Script Contest

The purpose of the Fast Flowing Water video script contest is to make children aware of the risks and dangers associated with the waterways in Greater Sudbury. In order to promote safety and create a ‘psychological fence’ around the waters, elementary students in grades 4 to 8, from all four school boards in the city were asked to present a script, outlining the dangers of fast flowing water.

The award for the script contest was to get the script professionally filmed and edited by Petryna Advertising to partake in the creation of a PSA (Public Service Announcement) commercial that will be shown at the 2016 Cinéfest International Film Festival.

The Fast Flowing Water Contest was made possible through the generous contributions of the following Sponsors.
