Our Conservation Area trails are used in all four seasons for hiking, biking, running, walking, nature photography, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. There are numerous scenic lookouts, lakes, wetlands and a bird watching blind.

The street address for Lake Laurentian Conservation Area is 2309 South Bay Road, Sudbury, Ontario.

Driving from Science North, follow Ramsey Lake Road. Just past the entrance (traffic lights) to Laurentian University, turn right on South Bay Road.

Follow South Bay Road about 4 km along the south shore of Lake Ramsey. Watch for the large Lake Laurentian sign—turn right and go 0.25 km to the parking area near the Nature Chalet.

Alternatively, stay on South Bay Road and go past the first entrance, go over the big hill to the Ski Cottage where there is a parking area.

You can also access the trails from the end of Ida Street, off of Regent Street South (Highway 69) and through Moonlight Beach at the end of Moonlight Avenue in Minnow Lake.
